Purple Top Globe Turnip

The classic North American Turnip! Purple tops are exceptionally cold tolerant as small seedlings as well as in their final stages of growth, though they do prefer warmer soil temperatures for germination. Smooth bodied and larger on average than most turnips maturing in roughly 50 days. The tops are also edible and they are a great way to loosen compacted soil. 100 seeds per packet.
